The Guardians – Large Figurative Oil Painting on Canvas

The river of eternal life feeds into the ocean of all that there is. The waves symbolize the cycles of life—it never ends—it simply transforms into its next stage. The fisherman is holding in his very last inhale as the current of change rises above Heaven’s Gate to...viciously swallow him into the dark, deep blue? No, to baptize him into his resting place, where the Galaxy Cowboys carry exhausted souls to the Valley of Gods. The radiant energy vibrates and colors the waterfalls, stones, plants, and grass. Two central figures supervise the process. While the shamanic creature represents the past, the futuristic steel ghost is a prophet of what’s yet to come. Here, they all co-exist at the exact moment in time. Because the past, the present, and the future are all happening now. Because the only time plane where life can happen is now. When we realize that life never ends, our shared illusion of time collapses into one eternal NOW. It is always NOW.
